Introduction

The Martin Family Heritage book was originally written by Ethel Louis Beshore. It

contains a vast collection of family history and was created over a ten year period.
Ethel took orders for the book and many copies were distributed to family members
everywhere. However, once the original distribution was completed, it was difficult to
obtain a copy unless you went through the process of making copies.

In this digital age of 2017, it only makes sense to bring this important work forward
with all the latest technology. The goal of this project was to capture Ethel's original
book in a digital format, then create a way for family members to continue to add to

            the book.

The scanning process did degrade the quality of the printed pages and photocopied
photos slightly. And, without possession of the original photos, this was unavoidable.
The written text was the important part to capture. This new digital book is also being
formatted for online viewing, printing, and download. It will be in an ebook-style of
            viewing with flip pages.

The book will be available for desktop as well as mobile viewing on a website domain
initially administered by Scott Laemmle. The link to the book will be communicated to
the family members through emails, Facebook, and many other means.

To have your own family chapter added, simply send in an Adobe PDF file format to the
contact information at the bottom of the page. Submitted files can be converted from
most file formats to PDF as well, so just let us know what you have to work with.

The benefit of the new submissions are that they can be easily updated in the future,
            contain full color pictures, etc.

The book can be accessed from the following website: www.martinsfamilyheritage.com
