Distribution Center for Walmart. We had Taunee in the Fall of 1993. I played in a Country Rock band
called “90 Proof” back in those years. We have some old videos posted on Youtube.

In 1996, I was offered my next opportunity to come to Bentonville to work with Warehouse
Administration. I worked on the Grocery Distribution side of things for 12 years as we developed that
network. Grocery was a key part of the Walmart growth story and that self distribution was one of
our key competetive advantages (still is to this day). In 2000, Joshua was born as a true millennial
child. September 11, 2001 changed everyones lives forever. Such a horrible event in the World and
we had to witness that.
Sherry and I separated in 2003 and divorced. My new wife, also named Sherry, and I were married in
December 2004 and started a new journey together.

Sherry is from Wheeling, WV. My Mom was adopted and was born in WV as well. Small world. The
past 13 years have been so much fun. We purchased a wonderful lake house on Beaver Lake in
Rogers, AR initially, but decided we needed to be in Bentonville since that is where we had all the kids
in schools. We have a terrific home all dressed out rustic lodge décor. I have an amazing Mancave
with a stage and still play a lot of music. We have a nice big RV and use it frequently. We have a cat
named Slinky, but we will not be pet owners in our retirement years (we are done with the hair!).
We lead a very active lifestyle with plenty of vacation time to create memories for all the family. We
cruise each year, typically have a summer trip to a beach as well. Sherry and I see a lot of concerts (we
have a Kiss concert coming up!).

When I look back now that I am almost 52, it is really hard to believe how fast time does fly by. We
are making the most out of it and are blessed with healthy kids, great jobs, and the ability to get out
and enjoy life!
